The Democratic Presidential Caucuses in Washington state were held on February 9, 2008. The nearest caucus site to my home was the historic Labor Temple in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle.
Arguably one of the few positive outcomes of the failed George Bush presidency is that this Administration’s across the board inability to advance the nation’s economy, foreign policy or security has galvanized the American electorate, resulting in record-breaking turnout at the Democratic caucuses and passionate debate. The outcome of the process was a huge win for candidate Barack Obama.
