Amanda Paredes and Chris Sheridan at Axis Pioneer Square

Amanda Paredes is showing work in ‟The Fallen,” at Axis Pioneer Square through March 27, 2015. The exhibition opened on March 5, during the Pioneer Square’s First Thursday Art Walk. ‟The Fallen” is loosely inspired by Dante’s Inferno and the show is a collaboration with figurative oil painter Chris Sheridan, whose work is not shown in this post.

Marita Dingus at Traver Gallery

On March 5, 2015, Traver Gallery, in Seattle, welcomed First Thursday Art Walk guests to ‟The Girls,” an exhibition of works by Marita Dingus. ‟The Girls” explores themes of race, identity and cultural dissonance, and the works are constructed almost entirely of found material. The show runs through May 3. 

Also on view at Traver, through May 3, is an exhibition by Mark Bennion.
