Pictures With and Without Words

On June 18, 2009, as part of its Projections series, the Henry Art Gallery organized a panel on photography titled “Words Without Pictures”. Panelists included Seattle artists David Hartt, Margot Quan Knight and Vesna Pavlović, and Alex Klein, photographer and curatorial fellow at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Henry curator Sara Krajewski moderated the panel. The event also served as a book lunch for Words Without Pictures, a book of essays on contemporary photography written by artists, curators and critics.
