Monterey Jazz Festival 2009 - Saturday Night

The Monterey Jazz Festival is a fabulous event, virtually every moment filled with great music and engaged, happy people. The performances I experienced on Sunday night, September 20, 2009, topped even that high standard, including (1) the Monterey Festival All-Stars headlined by Kenny Barron, Regina Carter, Kurt Elling and Russell Malone; (2) Dee Dee Bridgewater; and (3) the Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.
