Olympic Peninsula Road Trip

Liis an I took a three-day road trip around the Olympic Peninsula from January 31 through February 2, 2012.

January 31

Mostly a driving day, I stopped briefly to visit the Lake Quinault Lodge, where I stayed on my first trip to the area, in 1991.

First night accommodations were at the Kalaloch Lodge, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the environment for the next day’s photographs.

February 1

The second night’s accommodations were at the Olympic Lodge, in Port Angeles.

February 2

On the drive towards the Winslow-Seattle ferry and home, we visited the Hoh Rainforest and drove as far as the ranger station, but didn't quite make it to Hurricane Ridge.
