California 2007 - Day 8

September 19, 2007, was a busy day. We started with lunch at the Oakville Grocery. The first three images are from the grocery’s garden, located behind the store:

For the second straight year, we had a tasting at Vine Cliff Winery, one of Liis’ favorites. This year, we also took the winery tour, including the caves:










A trip highlight was our tour and tasting at Shafer Vineyards that included remarks by winery founder John Shafer:
