On our holiday trip to the Columbia Gorge, Christmas Day’s weather was unexpectedly and happily mild. So, we took a drive to see some of the sights between the Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington, and Troutdale, Oregon. The highway sits spectacularly above the scenic Columbia Gorge on most of this drive. Among the places we stopped were Multnomah Falls, an exceptionally windy Crown Point and an exceptionally quiet holiday Troutdale.
