Iole Alessandrini at MITHŪN

MITHŪN, a Seattle-based firm comprised of architects, interior architects, landscape architects, planners, scientists and designers, hosted “Evidence of Absence,” an exhibition by Iole Alessandrini, from September 17 through October 27, 2009. This blog featured images from the versatile and talented Ms Alessandrini’s “Greener” installation at the Olympic Sculpture Park in 2007.













Henry Art Gallery Open House

Mix It Up at the Wing Luke Museum

The inaugural Mix It Up Asian-American artist reception was held at the Wing Luke Museum, in Seattle’s International District, on October 9, 2009. The event was a gathering of Asian American artists, curators and other arts professionals, and an opportunity to view the current museum special exhibitions, (1) Yellow Terror: The Collections and Paintings of Roger Shimomura, and (2) Parallel Lines: 8 Contemporary Seattle Artists.
