Thornetta Davis, Detroit’s Queen of the Blues, headlined a band on the Jimmy Lyon’s Stage at the 2018 Monterey Jazz Festival.

Her band included: Thornetta Davis, vocals; Carlton Washington, guitar; Phillip Hale, keyboards; Joe Veloz, bass; David Marcaccio, drums; and background vocals by Roseann Matthews and Rosemarie Matthews.
