Walking Around Seattle on a Spring Day

The beautiful Spring weather on Sunday afternoon, April 20, 2014, got me outside with my camera. The first shot below is at the bus stop nearest home in Belltown. I went down to Pioneer Square and made the next four images. Then, on the Queen Anne Hill to walk around and hit Trader Joe's. I hear a loud "Robert Wade! Robert Wade!" Look up Queen Anne Avenue to find Marina jogging towards me. "What are you doing in my neighborhood?" "Heading for the Trader." "I going to pick up a girlfriend, do you want to come?" "Sure." We picked up Christa and found a park in Magnolia. A beautiful day, indeed.

Seattle Center for Photos and The Suit at the Seattle Rep

On Sunday, April 6, 2014, Marina, her sister Jenny, and I caught the closing Seattle Repertory Theatre performance of The Suit. Directed by the legendary Peter Brook, The Suit, set in apartheid South Africa, is a striking and tragic parable on the theme of forgiveness. The Suit opens a run at the A.C.T., in San Francisco, on April 23, continuing through May 10.

As we wandered around the Seattle Center before curtain time, I took photos of Marina and Jenny.
