Mayor Proclaims June 19, 2015, a citywide Day of Photography

Glazer's Camera was the site of a press conference announcing Seattle Mayor Ed Murray’s proclamation designating June 19, 2015, as a citywide Day of Photography. 

Among those making remarks was Michelle Dunn Marsh, Executive Director of Photo Center Northwest (PCNW). A full weekend of photography related activities will activate Seattle over the next three days, included Long Shot, a one-day activity and fundraising event for PCNW, and PHOTOFEST 2015, a weekend of photography events celebrating Glazer’s Camera's 80th anniversary.

Leo Saul Berk at the Frye Art Museum

“Structure and Ornament,” an exhibition of work by Leo Saul Berk, opened at the Frye Art Museum, in Seattle, on May 30, 2015. The sculpture and video comprising the show address issues of architecture and imagination, paying  homage to the mid-century American architect, painter and musician Bruce Goff (1904–82). “Structure and Ornament” runs through September 6, 2015.
