“Breaking Tradition” Exhibition Opens at Benham Gallery

Benham Gallery, in Seattle, celebrated the opening of its Breaking Tradition exhibition with a holiday party on November 21, 2008. Artists in the show include David Armentor, Rosanna Salonia and Matthew Yates. The show runs from November 19 to December 24, 2008.

Henry Art Gallery Open House

The Henry Art Gallery Open House drew several hundred guests on the evening of Friday, November 21, 2008. The event celebrated three exhibitions, including Richard Misrach’ On the Beach; Liz Magor's The Mouth and other storage facilities; and the opening of Adaptation, featuring video installations by (1) Guy Ben-Ner, (2) Arturo Herrera, (3) Catherine Sullivan and (4) Eve Sussman & the Rufus Corporation.

Eve Sussman at the Henry Art Gallery

On Thursday, November 20, 2008, Eve Sussman gave a Visiting Artist Lecture at the Henry Art Gallery. Joining Ms. Sussman on the stage were two of her collaborators from the Rufus Corporation, Claudia de Serpa Soares and Jeff Wood. In addition to the talk, Sussman has a video installation in the Adaptation exhibition at the Henry until March 22, 2009.
