Liis and I walked over to Bryan and Margaret Lake’s home for a large and festive Thanksgiving celebration and dinner.

On October 12, Liis, Anne-Marie, Nancy and I took the kids to the Caza Berry Farm (a.k.a. Buckhorn Berry Farm) Pumpkin Festival. Located near Buckhorn, Ontario, the farm hosts the pumpkin festival annually.

Ontario - Fall 2008 - Day 5

On an unseasonably warm and sunny October 11, Liis and I went to a holiday family dinner at the farmhouse of Steve and Christine Karpazis, near the small settlement of Oakwood, Ontario. Christine and Liis are cousins. I renewed my acquaintance with several in-laws and met a quite a few more for the first time. The farmhouse dates from the early 1800s.
