Olympic Sculpture Park + Snow

On December 22, 2008, after several days of accumulation of the most significant Seattle snowfall in many years, I took a walk through the Olympic Sculpture Park. The park is one of three sites of the Seattle Art Museum. Click on any image for a larger version.

Art making with Etsuko Ichikawa at Viscosity Glass

Etsuko Ichikawa is a Seattle-based artist. On November 17, 2008, I met her at Viscosity Glass, in Seattle, to photograph her process and to document the creation of glass pyrographs.

Seattle City Light Elevator Lobby Artworks

On December 16, 2008, a dedication and artist reception took place for the Seattle City Light Elevator Lobby artworks. This public art project occupies the elevator lobbies of seven floors in the Seattle Municipal Tower. The project artists include Marie Watt, Margie Livingston, Victoria Haven, Emily Ginsburg, Kerry Skarbakka, Claude Zervas and Yuki Nakamura.
