Morgan Parker at Fred's Wildlife Refuge
Poet Morgan Parker performed in a Hugo House event, hosted at Fred's Wildlife Refuge, in Seattle, on March 8, 2017. On stage with Ms. Parker was Rebecca Schiff, who read from her collection of short stories, The Bed Moved, and engaged in a lively post reading discussion with Parker.

Activist Poetics Symposium
An Activist Poetics Symposium was held on campus at the University of Washington main campus, on February 3, 2017. The featured poets also performed in the Seattle Public Library that evening.
The symposium was organized by three University of Washington, Bothell, faculty members: micha cárdenas, Amaranth Borsuk and Sarah Dowling.
