Monsieur Periné from Bogotá, Columbia, performed on the Jimmy Lyons stage, at the 60th annual Monterey Jazz Festival.

Performers included: Catalina Garcia (vocals); Abstin Caviedes (trombone); Jairo Alfonso (sax); Nicolás Junca (guitar, ronroco); Santiago Prieto (guitar, ronroco); Adinda Meertins (bass); Darwin Paez (drums); and Miguel Guerra (percussion).

Monsieur Periné was announced as the first ever band from Columbia to perform at the festival.

The Ray Obiedo Latin Jazz Project opened the 60th annual Monterey Jazz Festival, on the Garden Stage, on September 15, 2017. Project performers included:
