PETA protest in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood
On March 5, 2008, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) protesters picketed both sides of the street adjacent to a University of Washington primate lab on Western Avenue in my Belltown neighborhood.
PETA claims that University of Washington researchers engage in unauthorized and gruesome surgeries, and other cruel experiments on primates.
