Napa Valley 2009 - Day 1

Liis and I met our travel companions, Park and Martha Woodworth, at the gate at SeaTac Airport. We flew Southwest Airlines to San Jose, California, picked up our rental autos and caravaned to the Napa Valley wine region. Our first stop was Domaine Carneros, where we sat on the deck and tasted red and sparkling wines. We proceeded to the Boon Fly Café, at the Carneros Inn, for a late lunch. Then, on to the Cuvaison Guest House to drop off our luggage. After a brief rest, we drove north to taste at Saint Supery and then had our toughest decision of the day, determining where to have dinner. After considering the Rutherford Grill, stopping by Bouchon and Angèle to check out menus, we settled on Celadon, and all were happy with the decision.
