Napa Valley 2009 - Day 2

Park, Martha, Liis and I started our second day in Napa with a visit to Schramsberg Vineyards, where we experienced an overview of the property’s history, an excellent cellar and wine-making process tour, and a tasting of sparking wines. We drove to lunch at the Oakville Grocery. Next up a visit to Robert Sinskey Vineyards, where we tasted white and red wines paired with food.

Liis works at the Hotel 1000 in Seattle. The company is managed by MTM Luxury Lodging, which also operates the relatively new Bardessono resort in Napa. So, we dropped in for an overview of the facility, including a look at one of the resort’s well-appointed guest suites. Our last stop together today was the Cuvaison tasting room in Calistoga, to say hello and to thank the Cuvaison team once again for sharing the Guest House with us. Later that night Park and Martha went to Angèle for dinner, while Liis and I shared a light meal in the guest house.
